Clearinghouse update

At 10:40am this morning, I was called by Dr. Schwartz of University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill, a APPIC-accredited unpaid internship site that is one of the best neuropsychology and geropsychology sites in the country. I was offered a position.

I'll give the Universe, and the other sites still open, a bit more time. I will decide on Monday.

What's a clearinghouse? And what is geropsychology? And have you read the latest SEED mag? There is a great article on neurogenesis.

*smiles*... yeah, give the Universe a bit more time... but hell luv, ya got one! Which is a much better position to be in. Now you have the security of knowing you can choose the one you want if you get another offer.

Actually, a change of scenery/perspective may be just the thing for you now. What an opportunity!

Congrats.. Goddess doesn't steer us in ways She doesn't want us to go. If you decide on this one, I can't wait to hear what She has in store for you over there! How exciting!!! You will keep your house here, won't you?.. So you still have roots and have to come back. ;-)

*smiles* How ironic. I have family all over North Carolina.

Look at it this way, at least you know you'll eat reallll good. *grins*

But seriously, trust the Universe. There may be something there for you to learn. Yes, give it a bit more time, and meditate on it.

I'm so happy I could just dance.

Oss!

ROFLOL, just watch for the Bless Your Heart comments. I'm assuming you know what that really means when coming out of the mouth of a southerner, right?

What wonderful news! North Carolina doesn't have to be permanent...if you go, you'll be missed. But this is a terrific opportunity. Congratz!

Hugs,

From the beginning of time when apes began to be upright, we've been looking to new locations simply for the purpose of learning things. Travel--all by itself--is and always will be educational. Travelling FOR educational purposes will get you to your destination twice as fast...that is, if your destination is knowledge. Which isn't a destination at all, but a journey...........

I'm curious....why were you so resistant to leave Oregon? I am open to leave the state I am in, in fact planned on it all last year, and I am finding it a challenge.
