Today, I went walking in the sunshine as has become my practice at lunchtime. I intuitively walked a bit further than usual, and was gifted with a black hawk feather by the side of the path. I will place it with the grey feather on my altar.

My work has picked up even further. I find myself with even more energy, and I am writing reports and performing testing faster and easier. I am starting a research project on best practices of geriatric pain management with Dr. Barrick, the Chief Psychologist at JUH, and a prolific author of geropsychology. I wrote, consulted, and administered a behavioral guideline for a difficult and traumatized patient I am working with in individual psychotherapy, and it seems to be working. Also, Jharma, I'm going to be teaching a geriatric version of Tai Chi to the patients. *smile*

Outside of JUH, I was awarded 9th Gup, and I am testing again for 8th Gup on 11/13, the minimum traditional time allowed between testing for ranks. My Tang Soo Do practice has also become easier almost overnight, and I've added kickboxing to my training regimen to add more flexibility and power to my techniques. Back stances, once a real problem for me, are now becoming my strongest stance. I'm working through my third and fourth hyung, breathing and making it a spiritual tantric practice, moving energy up and down through me.

I am eating well. I am sleeping well. I train every day. My knee is sometimes swollen and I am still not always able to perform the same calisthenics, but I keep up with the rest of the dojang with alternate exercises. I read. I walk. I use the sauna three times a week and prayanama breathe. I breathe without thinking. All of my chakras seem to be clearing up, and I am speaking and acting in a measured way. My root chakra, especially, has become clearer; the Universe has given me opportunities to grow from parts of the chakra that I closed off. Socially, I have been connected with a new friend and kindred spirit. I anticipate learning and growing even more from her.

Stuart Wilde writes, "Everything is out there waiting for you. All you have to do is walk up and declare yourself in. No need for permission. You just need courage to say, 'Include me'. Providing you have the energy to pull it off you can do what you like. And the Universal Law, being impartial, will be only too delighted to deliver." Yes.
