I've been busy. I've been to Stem Founder's Day, in Stem, NC, and learned much about my forefathers. My Internship keeps me too busy, and I'm learning to adjust. My truck badly needed brakes, and that's been taken care of. I've been to Biker Church, and a men's prayer breakfast for the Faith Riders MM, and I've had a professional photography shoot. There have been many events in the community I have attended, and enjoyed and learned from them all, but I'm almost ready for a break.
I'm training hard, in many ways. My Tang Soo Do test is in 2 days, and I'll be ready. I've been focusing a lot on trust, and service, and continuing my daily devotions and meditation. I've been reconnecting with Tam in ways that I haven't since her visit. I'm about to take on a person for a part-time service position, and I'm taking on a father-figure position for another. I've been relentlessly cleaning out everything extra that I won't need before the Burn and packing it to be stored in Oregon, and going through my Burner Box and cleaning out all the dusty gear and painful memories.
My lower back/sacrum has been acting up, hurting badly at times and aching at others. I know that's Sacral chakra stuff that my Bhakti is uncovering --- emotions, sexuality, movement, pleasure, and connection. I'm becoming Pan, and Hearn, and Cernunnos, in preparation for Beltane, and training different forms with different energy. I've dropped another set of shields I didn't realize I had, and modulated my intensity.
Now, I go train.
