Oct. 9th, 2007 04:05 pmFall is here, and I have been busy with Phase III of sorting and purging and gifting things that people can use. Boxes full of possessions come and go, sorted and gifted. I’m living in Portland a few days a week, and working in Salem, a necessary transition that detaches me from most distractions. I still have 5 Swords. Most else is open to change; I’m feeling little urge to add more responsibility. Work continues to pick up, and I get new clients every week.
Tam continues to be around when she can, and she has been a welcome visitor. I visit Kristi when I can, and I am happy to re-announce she passed her massage boards. She and Tam celebrated my 41st birthday, and Chocolate cake (and later, chocolate truffles beautifully presented) followed an excellent steak and ribs. Tam has ordered me a leather Utilikilt as a birthday and graduation present. A new mala, and new jewelry around my right ankle, are also necessary gifts of Fall – the lock has broken and the chain has fallen off, and I seemed to have the stone Sienna was looking for. I have abundance.
I passed my ‘midterm-exam’ puja and resolved a few bits of kharma, and I continue to learn and train hard in my classes. I meditate daily, and I’m working on my next set of trials. Finding a dojo remains on the to-do list, but I have resumed running and restarted more physical training, simply to keep myself in shape. I like the way my muscles feel after I work them. I have no doubt a dojo, a tattoo, or for that matter anything that I need, will come when it’s time. Let the rain come.
