Quick Update
Feb. 19th, 2009 05:07 pmI'm back from Texas, and in the flurry of taking care of my clients and writing reports, clearing my desk of paper. I'm a bit under the weather, possibly from allergy stuff, but I seem to have a bit of a fever as well. I'm stoned from a single Claritin tab. *grin* Phaedrus has somehow acquired a serious abscess under his chin, and it's draining and healing slowly, with banana-flavored antibiotics that he seems to tolerate. I'm increasingly thinking about him, as he seems to be progressing toward his end of life, but he's happy and still getting around. I'm very grateful to Miss Rebecca, who has become Phaedrus' "girlfriend," and takes great care of him while I'm gone.
I've been training for the fire sword duel next month (#11), and I've got someone very interested in renting out the Fortress of Solitude (#19) who seems honorable and has many common interests. With all of my travel, sword training, and other priorities, as well as general health stuff, I've not been in the dojo (#35), an unsettling experience for me. Miss Rebecca has been an invaluable resource, and is training hard herself for her first 5K.
I'll be leaving for AZ this weekend (#55 and #20), a welcome respite, after I drop Ol' Number 3 off for painting (#45). However, that will be my last out-of-state travel for awhile. I've got some serious training with Sienna (#13), Sabre, the dojo, and of course, studying for my EPPP. I will very soon have enough supervised hours for licensure (#61), and it's finally time to start the timeline for taking the national exam (#14).
