I've been back from AZ for two weeks now, and I've been rather driven by the Universe to take care of things, and haven't really updated much. Work has kept me even busier than usual, and crises abound. I'm behind, but organized, and I've finally closed my practice to new clients until I can catch up.

I have managed to train for my fire sword duel (#11) this Sunday, and I've reacquired my chainmail hauberk, but I've been training less in the dojo (#35). Apparently I needed some of my armor back. I'll also be running a 5K this Sunday with and to support Miss Rebecca, for her first 5K. I'm not running it for time (#1) - instead I'll be running it in a Utilikilt. *grin* Running and swordwork on the same day strikes an old chord in me.

Work has been added to on my back piece (#30), and Musashi now has a woman Samurai wielding a naginata who has begun a lifelong duel with him. This symbolizes and creates balance on many levels with the blending of training and Bushido, and why one trains. That tattoo hurt - and training hurts.

I've managed to get the bus painted (#45), and through a surprisingly painless DMV process. Despite a small and easily-fixed air compressor issue, the bus is now back at the Fortress of Solitude. It served as a hearse for Miss Rebecca's second cat, Miss Sugar, who will also be buried at the Fortress. This weekend I plan to pick up my Sportster, who is also ready with a bigger tank, and cleaned up and serviced (#46, #47).

This is a week of patience, and finding the flow of the Universe, and reconnecting with those things that help me do that, and gathering. Training, breathing, meditation, running, and crossing swords with a Warrior all bring clarity and peace, and I'm looking forward to that this weekend.
