Goals Update
Jul. 15th, 2009 03:00 pmCompleted: 19/104
In process: 25
This last weekend I managed to finally regulate my energy, getting caught up on my sleep a bit. Work on my backpiece (#30) over my third chakra brought much to the surface, as work with Rain always does. Besides more sleep and rest (#97), I was a referee for a jello-wrestling contest between Tam and Miss Rebecca, ate plenty of barbeque, saw a zombie opera, worked on a few projects on the bus (#17), gave a gift to the young Warrior who had completed his rite of passage, had breakfast and a lengthy conversation with a very thoughtful man and fellow tantric student, and trained hard in both the gym and the dojo (#1, #5, #6, #12, #35). The medications and my seasonal allergies have drastically effected my physical strength and endurance, and I'm working to build them back up again.
Even though I thought I had purged everything from 'Ol Number 3, more miscellaneous projects are being finished and uncluttering both my mind and my physical space, which give me that energy. The bus almost feels half-empty, and projects are now completed enough so that I can move quickly. The bus now has a battery/inverter, which can charge as the bus is moving, or from a wall outlet, or from solar power, so I can be independent of external power. I also have a functioning tool/parts cabinet, and lights and gear on my bicycle have been installed. Next, bolting in my toolboxes, and finishing the facing on my shelves. At night and at odd times, I've been reading Jesus and Buddha: Conversations, by Carrin Dunne (#62), and finding many lessons to revisit.
I am very close to completing my clinical hours (#61), and I've started to intensify my EPPP studies (#14), and put even more energy into my reports and clinical responsibilities. I'll be attending a 3-day training seminar (#41) next week because my ratio of clinical hours to training hours is unsurprisingly high. My clients have had a lot of crises this Summer, and their legal issues and clinical difficulties have taken a lot of my time. I'm closed to new counseling clients for the time being.
