This last weekend I rafted the Deschutes River (#102, #43). Two days of sun, and great food, and water, and connecting with people in my community I'd not seen in a long time, or hadn't met yet. I jumped from a 30-foot cliff into deep water. I rode through a stretch of river called Buckskin Mary, with 12-foot vertical waves, first in the raft and then again with just my lifejacket. I hiked four miles to the North Platt Junction, and found a geocache (see the Considering Adding section), my first experience with that.

The Burn is coming! It's too hot to work much on the bus, but chores and little puttering tasks are getting done (#17, #103). I've got three potential riders for Burning Man (#18). I have a tattoo appointment on Sunday morning (#30). I'll be riding up to Seattle next weekend and acquiring another Utilikilt (#71). There doesn't seem to be any interest in a Black Rock City Dojo this year, so that goal (#51) will have to be postponed.

Still working on moderating my energy, and eating (#26) and sleeping (#97). Training continues, as it always will, and reports are being written and my desk is slowly clearing out in preparation for my leaving for the Burn. I'm looking forward to life settling down a bit.
