Ol' Number 3 now has a good stereo/Ipod and radio system, professionally installed (#17).
Sunday I attended the Washington Park Summer Festival (#105), in the rain - but worth it. I saw the Portland Taiko Drummers, who had an inspired performance. I also saw Miso Desierto Butoh Theatre, who defined themselves as "post-war Japan, an uncompromising exercise in social rebellion and self-exploration...stripping away the accumulated conventions and affectations to expose the essential, raw truth of the body in the moment." Ho, ho.
Tantrically, there is an Abyss coming up (#13). My Inner Dojo has dirty, overused rooms, and dusty rooms that haven't been used other than a pathway since my last puja. The Burn will sweep through me like Butoh Theatre, effortlessly and with intention. Again.
I'm not ready to Burn, but I'm already charring around the edges.
