Sep. 21st, 2009 06:05 pmAlright, then. An update. It looks like I'll be fairly local for several months.
I will have to move out of my office by October 31st, I found out today. My lease is expiring. Office space in Salem is easy to come by, but this will require some time and energy. I'll need some office furniture, and secure filing, as well as staff. I am getting more caught up on my evaluation reports, thanks to a certain transcriptionist. This will reduce my distractions and allow for more study time for my EPPP (#14).
The bus has a serious transmission leak by the front pump seal, and the whole engine needs servicing (#103). Additionally, 'Ol Number 3 will need new traction tires in the back, and some other maintenance. Fortunately, Maverick is on it, and we will be scheduling a maintenance day very soon. The bus is not capable of a long-distance trip at this time, however. Finally, I still don't have a good place to put the bus. I have leads, and I'm waiting for call backs. Discrimination about converted school buses is something I'm learning about.
