Now that I'm getting to be a bit more established in Texas, I got to thinking. I started running through everyday and emergency scenarios in my head, and came to the conclusion that 'Ol Number 3 has adequate primary and secondary gear, but that access to that gear is not always quick or efficient. Some things were put places because they fit, not because they belonged there. Parts of the bus are dusty and dirty, and some of the gear/hard points were placed for a configuration that has changed several times since it was placed, and they're not useful. I'm tired of having to move two things to get to what I need.

I've been re-organizing everything on the bus. So far, I've cleaned out the kitchen so I can actually have room to cook and clean. I've organized the utility shelves to accommodate only tools, trauma gear, food, kitchen supplies, and the fire safes, and cleaned out my altar space. I've purged and stored most of my cold weather gear from my closet (it's warm here in Texas). Today, I'm in the process of cleaning out and rebuilding the bedroom and secondary storage space. There's no hurry; I have all day and I'm enjoying the nice weather and some very good coffee. *smile*
