Back from the Flipside

I'm back from Flipside (#43), the Texas regional Burn. 'Ol Number 3 blew a brake line, both on the way here (which was fixed) ... and 150 feet from her space in the RV park in New Braunfels. I had a great Burn. I worked and played and reconnected with the Burner community. I worked very hard, and did a total of nine six-hour shifts in just over three days. I provided some very critical care, and I covered for others that just couldn't keep going - and others covered for me when I could not keep going. I am likely going to be adopted by a theme camp called "the Temple of the Steaming Pot," that serves coffee 24/7 during the event - is anyone really surprised? *grin*
