I have had quite a week. I've had a visit from Julie, who always stretches me in ways that I perhaps had not chosen to go but perhaps needed to, and ... she brought me my pickup truck, which had been on an extended loan. She came back with a new windshield, a full service (#54), new tires, and a kick-ass stereo system and other assorted goodies. Thank you, President Amazon! Thank you Julie, for the stretching and the mitzvahs! :>

I've also spent some time with new friends and new ideas and new relationships, and been more nurtured than I've been in a long time. I've eaten well and mindfully (#26), and I've eaten no bread or sweets or more than meat and vegetables, and my eating has slowed down and been more contemplative. There is still room for improvement, but that's why they call it practice. I have been sleeping well (#97), and have been fairly well rested. I've spent some time talking with Sienna, and I've gotten my next tantric assignment (#13).

I have continued to perform at least 100 pushups (#5) or more a day, and I'm upping my daily count to a minimum of 125 to 150, building endurance. I've not been in the dojang since Friday, but tomorrow I will not miss a class until Saturday, when I know I will have a difficult promotion test that will require some very intense training. I have only gone running (#2) once so far this week, but I will run tonight and at least once more this weekend. I have gone geocaching in the local area with Julie and set a new personal record for most caches in a day, and also grabbed a few caches in Waco, TX.

Most importantly, though, my father and I have consulted with mother's primary care physician about some family issues, and significant progress was made with our current family situation. This is a great relief for both my father and I, and now perhaps what I came to Texas for in the first place can start happening. Now, I begin the process of preparing and packing for Burning Man, and loading gear and learning how to build a hexayurt. I'm heating up, but I'm not yet ready to burn.
