Life/Goals Update

I'm just back to Sanctuary after two weeks house-sitting. I spent most of my time helping Senshin accomplish a lot of her 101/1001 goals while she was here, although I managed to work on a few of my own. Many, many geocaches were found. It was very good to have some direct companionship. I re-read The Unfettered Mind by Takuan Soho, a series of letters from a Zen Master to a Sword Master (#28), a gift from Senshin. I did try a new food (#66), a Christmas Roll sent to me for the holiday season by Miss Rebecca. I've been working on staff forms (#12), and training for my next test January 15th. I've signed up to participate in the Warrior Dash in April, so I expect that I will be amping up my physical conditioning a bit.

After seeing Senshin to the airport, a very tired Stephanie came to Sanctuary with her father. There is much repacking, reorganizing, and storing to do. Work is beginning to pick up, and I'm working on a pattern of three days on (Tuesday through Thursday) and four days off. Tuesdays I'm in Canyon Lake, Wednesday I'm in Seguin, and Thursdays in New Braunfels. There will be lots of family things to do, as my brother will be flying into San Antonio this week.

I'll be a bit slow to respond to people while my family stuff is happening. I did get some Christmas gifts that I will be thanking those people for, but I need to focus on my family. *smile*
