Life/Goals Update
Jan. 25th, 2011 11:35 pmCompleted: 44/109
In progress: 23
I'm done with house/dog sitting The Sa Bom Nim's house. Thank you, Steph, for the visit and for the help. The Sa Bom Nim's plane was delayed, and my first duty was to insure that him and his family were safely back in New Braunfels, which happened. However, I completely missed Slash playing, and the first Ozzy song, but I was able to attend the rest of the concert (#105). Nice to hear the Ol' Prince of Darkness one more time. *smile* A welcome respite.
I also, with the help of Miss Rebecca, got a new phone (#34). This one has unlimited internet and email, so I can work on the go and also geocache on demand. *grin* It's nice having a consultant who knows you and what you need. Now I need to figure out how it works. Message me if you want my new number. I've got all of your numbers in my new phone.
What else am I working on? The 10k (#2), and push-ups and sit-ups (#5 and #6), which will all happen before the Warrior Dash. April 17th. I was told tonight that Master Cox believes that a serious martial arts practitioner 'should' be banging out 35 push-ups and 150 sit-ups daily. OK. The Capitol 10k in Austin is March 27th. OK. I'll be doing a lot of running and training. These goals have been on my list for far too long. I have 10 geocaches to go until 700 - by this Saturday.
I've also started the process to sell the Fortress of Solitude. I'm hoping that my tax return will also help alleviate my financial issues. There's a mixture of sadness and determination - but change must happen and I've got to keep going.
