Goals/Life Update - Day 49/1001
Nov. 21st, 2011 02:43 pmGoals Completed: 0
Goals in Progress: 15
Body: Still recovering from the sore throat/general weakness/respiratory infection from last week. No training at all; I've missed two weeks (#1), including an inter-school tournament and a chance to learn three sword forms (#9). I will have managed to go running twice this week (#3).
Mind: Started reading Coelho's Warrior of the Light (#32). Wrote four silly haiku (#33).
Work: Working on cutting down and controlling my work email (#50), starting this week. Work is starting to pick up slightly.
Life: Having the destroyed carpet replaced in the former Fortress of Solitude (#52), in the shade that the buyers want - closing date is December 19th. Also paying off the last of my income taxes I owe this month. That will stop some of my financial bleeding - but I'm not yet financially in good shape. I will be paying off the Loan Modification and closing costs for some time, and some long-term debts. On the plus side, I have had my application approved for volunteer work (#77) for Habitat for Humanity. 'Ol Number 3 now has a complete external power system, and today a lot of things will be stored and secured.
