Goals/Life Update - Day 242/1001
Jun. 3rd, 2012 04:27 pm"A warrior considers himself already dead, so there is nothing to lose. The worst has already happened to him, therefore he's clear and calm; judging him by his acts or by his words, one would never suspect that he has witnessed everything." ~ Carlos Castaneda, Tales of Power
Goals Completed: 9
Goals in Progress: 26
Body: I did not train this week, due to clients and professional training. Plateaued with sit-ups and push-ups (#5, #6). Decompressing from Flipside. I did go running tonight (#3).
Mind: I've still reading Tales of Power, by Carlos Castaneda (#28). I've also continued my mindful eating practice (#27) this week. I composed a haiku at about 0430 Sunday night on a Ranger Grave Shift (#33).
Work: I attended a training (#45) called Therapies Applied in the Homeless Community, for 5.5 CEUs. I'm still looking at a traumatic grief training July 23. I'll need 30 CEUs by my birthday, when my LPC license will need to be renewed.
Life: I volunteered again at the Habitat for Humanity Restore this week (#77). I'm very close to completing this goal. I again found one more FTF this week but no new Difficulty/Terrain combinations (#96). 'Ol Number 3 got her yearly service (#74) this weekend, as well as her transmission and rear differential flushed and refilled. Also the always awesome Ranger Apple delivered 'Ol Number 3's tow bar for the truck from Arizona, where it had mistakenly gotten left. That makes me a lot more able to travel.
