Goals/LIfe Update - Day 466/1001
Jan. 13th, 2013 11:08 pm"Before you begin a thing, remind yourself that difficulties and delays quite impossible to foresee are ahead. If you could see them clearly, naturally you could do a great deal to get rid of them but you can't. You can only see one thing clearly and that is your goal. Form a mental vision of that and cling to it through thick and thin." - Kathleen Norris
Goals Completed: 17
Goals in Progress: 30
I missed a weekly update, but we've got a wifi hotspot device now on 'Ol Number 3 - so updates should now again be fairly regular.
Body: Last week I trained/taught a class at the Seguin dojang, and trained a double class in New Braunfels. This week I only was able to train a single class at the Seguin dojang. My foot is recovering. This puts me at 13 makeup classes owed to myself (#1, #2), and less time to make them up, as my Cho Dan test was moved forward two weeks. Steph and I have joined a gym; look for improvements in running, push-ups and sit-ups (#3, #5, #6). I managed to again maintain a better sleep regimen both weeks (#14).
Mind: I've almost finished Zen Mind, Beginner's Mind, and still working on Affirmations (#28). Sienna and I are continuing the process this week (#26) for our puja in February; I'll be calling tonight. I've missed a few days these last two weeks in my meditation practice, but I will soon be making those up with multiple daily practice. (#39). Root chakra issues that, of course, manifested themselves with my current meditative focus, are almost resolved.
Work: No progress.
Life: Again, no progress on the Sportster (#75) project. Working on January to complete the geocaching Finds by Day of Year (all years combined) and scored another FTF. The new food of the month (#68): Crunchy Cookie Butter.
This (two) week(s) on 'Ol Number 3: Ol' Number 3 is safely parked and secured, and has solid land power. Trips to Goodwill, and continuing purging of extra stuff, is still happening. We are very close to my parents location, and very close to the dojang, the gym, and Steph's work. Life on a bus is always different, and space is always an issue, but I'm happier now than I was at Hotel Mearse.
