Goals/Life Update - Day 500/1001
Feb. 17th, 2013 11:27 pm"To be a warrior is not a simple matter of wishing to be one. It is rather an endless struggle that will go on to the very last moment of our lives. Nobody is born a warrior, in exactly the same way that nobody is born an average man. We make ourselves into one or the other." - Carlos Castaneda
Goals Completed: 17
Goals in Progress: 31
I'm at the halfway point for this list. Not much change since last week.
Body: This week I trained/taught four classes at the Seguin dojang, both Dan Prep and sparring. I'm down to 9 makeup classes owed to myself (#1, #2). I've again made it to the gym only once this week, but still focusing on running, push-ups and sit-ups (#3, #5, #6). I did not manage to maintain a minimum sleep regimen this week (#14), getting less than 6 hours a night average this week.
Mind: I'm still working through The Overlook Martial Arts Reader (#28). Sienna and I are still engaged daily in the process (#26) for our puja next week. I've continued mostly daily in my meditation practice (#39), and have finished the second Bhakti (#38), and started the second round of Bhoga. This week was more challenging, and I fell asleep twice while meditating - more of a grind, with similarities with my Priestess.
Work: No progress. A hard week with clients, dealing with Valentine's Day chaos.
Life: Again, no progress.
This week on 'Ol Number 3: Little things, but no real progress.
