Goals/Life Update - Day 760/1001
Nov. 1st, 2013 11:46 amThe garden field has had yet another layer of duff and tall grass removed and burned, and it’s ready for fall tilling. I’ve started to find and accumulate parts for the irrigation system for the garden field, mostly from Steph’s dad’s junkpile. I’ve also planted the first plants in the greenhouse, a few already-sprouting pumpkin seeds. It’ll be a lengthy process for cleaning, organizing and preparing the greenhouse for growing the winter garden and turning it into a more useful space. Rusted tools, broken pots, garden tools, and mysterious parts and pieces of things I haven’t learned what they do or where they go, are everywhere. Since it will be raining over the next few days, the greenhouse will be my next house project focus.
Meditations continue, a remarkably peaceful process without a lot of emotion or change related to them. I’ve got a consulting gig today, and then tomorrow night I’ll be rangering at SeaCompression in Seattle. I start my yearly fast (#12), and Sunday I'll attend puja practice, part of my preparations for the Puja on 11/9. The Oregon LPC Board has made progress on my application; all that has not been approved is verification of my Texas licensure and continuing education requirements, both of which were mailed off today. I’ll call Monday or Tuesday next week to check on the progress.
