Goals/Life Update - Day 897/1001
Mar. 19th, 2014 12:20 amBe fearless. Have the courage to take risks. Go where there are no guarantees. Get out of your comfort zone even if it means being uncomfortable. The road less traveled is sometimes fraught with barricades, bumps, and uncharted terrain. But it is on that road where your character is truly tested, and have the courage to accept that you're not perfect - nothing is and no one is – and that's OK. - Katie Couric
Goals Completed: 34
Goals in Progress: 28
My taillight cover is still on order. Ol’ Number 3 is soon to be scheduled for her yearly service (#74) and so is my truck (#76), which should complete both of those goals.
The asparagus and all of the seed starts are still going in the greenhouse, and I’ve planted a blueberry bush in the yard. The topsoil wasn’t able to be delivered today, so I burned all the paper waste and spent most of my day in the side yard, uncovering daffodils from the overgrown blackberries and digging out the irrigation so the garden path won’t be so wet and muddy. Tomorrow, hopefully, topsoil and auto parts.
I’ve had a phone interview with the person who will be authorizing my specialization in Disaster Mental Health (#49) for the Red Cross, and I am officially a Disaster Mental Health Trainee. Progress! No word yet about the agency work I interviewed for- I’ll follow up again this week.
