Goals/Life Update - Day 899/1001
Mar. 21st, 2014 07:53 pmSuccess is not measured by what you accomplish but by the opposition you have encountered, and the courage with which you have maintained the struggle against overwhelming odds. - Orison Swett Marden
Goals Completed: 34
Goals in Progress: 28
Ol’ Number 3’s alternator is in the shop getting rebuilt. I picked up some tools and a new long power strip for Ol’ Number 3, and more tires for the lower field.
It was warm and sunny for the first day of Spring, and I made good use of it. I filled in all of the rest of the topsoil that was delivered. All of the herb garden, and all but six tires in the upper field, are ready for plants. I’ll need to get at least another half-yard of topsoil when I can. So much for my two week estimate, and thinking I had enough topsoil! *smile*
I’ve been invited to a weekend training with the Red Cross (#49) in May that looks like it will complete all of my training requirements, and make me eligible for national deployment. It will also renew my First Aid/CPR for Healthcare Providers (#70). That should complete two goals, and the training sounds interesting.
