I spent most of today responding to a Red Cross disaster – a multiple-family apartment building had burned to the ground, and twelve of us went up to offer Disaster Relief services. Knowing this was coming, I spent 3 hours yesterday learning about the new Client Assistance System, CAS 2.0, and completing all of the relevant online classes (#60). Apparently I did a good job, because I was promoted from Trainee to Worker.

Tonight – more weeding and tending of the garden, and some grounding after today’s work.
