Goals/Life Update - Day 15/1001
Jul. 15th, 2014 02:57 pmYou are not here merely to make a living. You are here in order to enable the world to live more amply, with greater vision, with a finer spirit of hope and achievement. You are here to enrich the world, and you impoverish yourself if you forget the errand. - Woodrow Wilson
Goals Completed: 0
Goals in Progress: 10
Since my last entry, I’ve seen two plays/performances (#36) – Summer Days! (by the Northwest Children’s Theater and School) and The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time (Third Rail Repertory Theatre). Both were very much well worth attending. The children actors were surprisingly poised and focused, even though the play was designed to work on their less-developed strengths. Curious was an excellent perspective of an individual with an Autism-Spectrum Disorder, and the acting was incredible.
My practice is starting to attract new clients, with three new clients scheduled for an intake or an introductory session next week. I’m still considering expanding my practice, and the Oregon Board of Psychology Examiners is still considering my case (#37, #38, #39). Also, I’m starting again on my BDSM Psychodynamics paper (#43), gathering other’s research on sexual practices and disability and starting again on the outline.
This week I’ll spend mostly away from the garden, attending a 3-day training conference (#41) and finding a geocache on 7/16, the last day of the 366 days of the year I have not found a geocache (#81). This weekend I’ll be a on a Crisis Team for Harmony Event Medicine at the Northwest String Summit, and likely to get a free concert (#99) while I’m working, and then I’ll see Journey and The Steve Miller Band after conducting a Black Rock Green Dot Ranger training.
