Goals/Life Update - Day 179/1001

I’ve been feeling more than a sense of general dissatisfaction in my life. I live in a very rural area, and this represents challenges to opportunities for socialization and working on my 101/1001 list. Steph is still recovering, but still cannot drive or do anything physical or even stay awake for an extended period. I’ve not had a lot of time by myself to do fun things I want to do, or take advantage of opportunities to learn or practice or train in some time. Any opportunity to get out and even have breakfast with a friend, or to spend 20 minutes and even get a geocache, requires extra effort and doesn’t often work out due to other’s needs. *sigh*
On the brighter side, I will get a professional haircut at a barber’s shop for men in Portland, with complimentary bourbon, and then I’ll go see a performance of Mary Poppins at the Northwest Children’s Theatre (#36). I have continued my daily meditation practice (#22), and I’m still working on my push-ups and sit-ups - I’m now up to two sets of 25 each (#07, #08). I’ve also found another two Grimm geocaches (#86).
I’m about six months into this 101/1001 list, and I’ve only completed 3 goals and I have 24 in progress. I’ve come to the realization that I’ve let other things and other people interfere with my list more than I’m willing to allow. My goal for the next month: complete 3 more goals, and make substantial progress on ten more.
