Goals/Life Update - Day 411/1001
Aug. 17th, 2015 11:00 pmChance favors the prepared mind. - Louis Pasteur
Goals Completed: 11
Goals in Progress: 29
Yesterday we visited the Columbia Gorge Interpretive Center Museum (#32), an excellent museum of local history and geology. We also visited the Bonneville Lock and Dam, getting our Junior Ranger patches and a few geocaches, and working in the supplemental goal of completing the Geocaching Road Trip 2015. In the evening, I went to see Wicked! at the Keller Auditorium (#36). A great weekend!
The shoulder injury turned out to be a partially torn bicep, and there’s some spectacular bruising, but it should heal over time. Pushups (#07) have had to be modified, but situps have been increased to 300 a day, three times a week (#08) to compensate. Eating and sleeping practices were better this week (#14, #16).
I’m starting to prepare for the Green Tortoise on an 8-day loop of western National Parks, which will complete my week-long hiking/camping goal (#91). I’m also starting to prepare for my yearly fast (#15).
