With my yearly fast completed, I went back to the gym yesterday - and it felt good. I only ran a few treadmill sprints and a couple of my core rehab exercises, but it felt right. I'm going back today for a longer strength workout as soon as I complete this entry. I'm planning on some weight loss and muscle gains.

The Ango continues, and I am continuing to maintain my practice of daily meditation, and I've attended the second Five Precepts class, and I've started reading some of the required reading. I've gotten my physical examination and my lab results. Although I haven't yet gotten a nutritionist appointment, my new doctor has suggested reducing dairy and bread from my diet to further reduce my cholesterol, and continue monitoring and being more mindful of my food and water intake. I'm finally inspired to write haiku.

I still haven't heard back from the company that offers a solar installation evaluation for Ol' Number 3, and I will follow up today. I'm halfway done preparing a disaster preparedness bag for the Whorse, and working on every day to clear out more space on Ol' Number 3. It's a good feeling to see less clutter.

Rain puddle circles,
heater cycles, glowing warm
jacket dripping dry

So, meditation -
Tuck the cushion, good posture
breathe ... just breathe

body as temple,
not maintained recently -
needs housecleaning!
