The Next July 2019 101/1001 Update

Goals in Progress: 25
Body/Martial Arts/Physical Improvement/Testing Myself: I completed the Spartan Workout Tour, earning a piece of the Spartan medal and a shirt. I've been doing some physical labor at Base Station, shoveling and moving dirt and debris. My muscles are sore in a good way, and I'm gearing up to run a few 5Ks and then the Spartan in August. I had a couple of clients cancel, and I hit the gym this evening. Look for my pushups, situps, and burpee numbers to increase. This Saturday morning I will be running a fun 5K.
Mind/Spirit/Centering/Health: I am still scheduling time in my busy day to meditate daily for this month, which will complete another goal. I have not yet sat formal Zazen for the month yet. I have read a book in my permanent library, Zen and the Art of Archery, and a new book, Report from Station 82, a book about a different type of fighting (firefighting) but the same Warrior mindset.
Maintenance/Shit Got To Be Done: I'm scheduled for my dental checkup at the end of the month.
In Case of Zombies/Disaster Preparation: Ol' Number 3 has been relocated and is staged at Base Station about 300 feet from her semi-permanent deployment on the old house pad on the property. We've cleared the dirt and debris, but there still needs to be some smoothed areas for her to get to where I want her and also there is some old fire-damaged trees I want to be cut down before I move her into position. I've got a new contractor, and we're working on the foundation of the garage pad, where the Gate House will go.
Travel/Adventure/Doing Stuff: This weekend Pepper and I will be taking a road trip to Northern Montana for Pepper's family to scatter some ashes. I hope to get in a Museum and score a Junior Ranger badge, as well as maybe find a few geocaching oldies, along the way. I've not yet made a decision about Burning Man yet this year.
