Third November 2018 101/1001 Update
Nov. 28th, 2018 02:50 pmYour present circumstances don't determine where you can go; they merely determine where you start. -Nido Quebin
Goals Completed: 23/108
Goals in Progress: 31
Body/Martial Arts/Physical Improvement/Testing Myself: In addition to the bunch of fun runs I signed up for to help motivate my running and general fitness, I added the Warrior Dash. I'd better get training!
Mind/Spirit/Centering/Health: No progress.
Maintenance/Shit Got To Be Done: The daily driver got her heavy duty transmission cooler, a transmission flush, and better battery tie-downs for better towing for the Whorse. I got my last immunization booster, an MMR vaccine, that allows me to work in any healthcare facility or in any role as a healthcare provider, nationally - and this completes another goal.
In Case of Zombies/Disaster Preparation: Still working on the 30-minute deployment status for 'Ol Number 3, and clearing space onboard the bus. I managed to pass my midterm exam for my EMT class, and passed my first clinical/practical exam by successfully immobilizing a supine C-spine patient. I was slow and thorough and did everything well with no critical fails, although I used 9 minutes and 58 seconds of my 10 minutes allotted. *smile*
Travel/Adventure/Doing Stuff: It occurred to me that I have indeed completed a free online course, Fundamentals of Fire Prevention, during my first term as a Firefighter Intern. I also attended my 10th concert, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. This completed two goals! I added some new goals of finding the 100 oldest geocaches in the world (I've already found 25 of the 100), geocaching the ET Highway in Roswell, New Mexico, and practicing my sewing and mending skills.
