To me, good health is more than just exercise and diet. It’s really a point of view and a mental attitude you have about yourself. — Angela Lansbury

Body/Martial Arts/Physical Improvement/Testing Myself: I'm now doing 120 daily pushups, in three sets. I've attended three more Qigong/Tai Chi classes this week, riding my bicycle to the third class - only to get a flat tire on the final stretch. The February 'Strength' GoRuck Challenge rucking requirement, the '1 Miler, 2 Miler, 3 Miler, 4 Miler, 5 Miler' Heavy (45 lbs.) ruck, is still in progress, with the 3-mile and the 4-mile rucks completed. I've finished A Farewell to Arms by Ernest Hemingway.

Mind/Spirit/Centering/Health: I'm still finishing The Art of War by Sun Tzu from my permanent library. I'm continuing my daily meditation for the month of February. I'm still rereading The Peaceful Warrior by Dan Millman. I've 'sat' yet another virtual Zazen loving-kindness metta.

New words: Lugubrious means "mournful" or "dismal." It can also mean "very sad in an exaggerated or insincere way." Peremptory means "expressive of urgency or command" or "marked by arrogant self-assurance."

Maintenance/Shit Got To Be Done: I had a Dermatology appointment this week, and I had a fresh biopsy on my face for a possible skin cancer lesion. When the results came back, it turned out to be sebaceous hyperplasia, a skin condition that becomes more common with age. That's where the sebaceous oil glands produce too much oil, which was trapped under my skin and caused a bump, with "no additional treatment needed." *whew* I have a colonoscopy next week, and I have started preparations for that. The daily driver and the WorkWhorse are both into the mechanic for maintenance.

In Case of Zombies/Disaster Preparation: The fire station has just reopened for volunteer shifts.

Base Station/Ol' Number 3: We are still awaiting results from the septic system site inspection. Brush-clearing will start next week. I got a start on shoveling out minor cave-ins of the Pole Barn site and putting that dirt in the 'living room', which is preparation for gravel and concrete for the large vehicle bay. A tree limb fell over the garden supplies and planter boxes and damaged two of them, but everything is moved and cleared for the dog area/fence.

Adventure/Doing Stuff: No progress.
