• The way ahead is clear.
• Be honest about the battlefield.
• Throw out the old rules that don’t make sense.
• Get out of the comfort zone.
• Go to the front of the fight and stay there.
• And most important, cut out all the B.S.

Body/Martial Arts/Physical Improvement/Testing Myself: I'm still working up to 200 daily pushups, in four sets. I took a day off when I was hauling branches at Base Station - that was a functional fitness workout. I'm still continuing an extra set of max reps with the pushup bars, on workdays. I've again trained in three more Qigong/Tai Chi classes this week, staying masked. There has not been much progress on this month's GoRuck Challenge. We still have this month's WOD, and last month's bonus WOD, to complete - and I also have the book to read. As it turns out, I ordered the summary of the book, not the book itself. The actual book has been ordered and it's now on the way.

Mind/Spirit/Centering/Health: I've further through Shambhala: The Sacred Path of the Warrior by Chögyam Trungpa, from my permanent library. I'm still reading Moving To Higher Ground: How Jazz Can Change Your Life by Wynton Marsalis with Geoffrey C. Ward. We have continued the GoRuck 'Breathe' Challenge additional tasking, a daily breathing/meditative practice and my daily meditation for the month of April. I've also 'sat' another loving-kindness metta this week. Haiku below.

New words: A rapprochement is “the establishment of or state of having cordial relations.”

Maintenance/Shit Got To Be Done: No progress.

In Case of Zombies/Disaster Preparation: I have completed two more classes of the Community Health Paramedicine course, MIH Pathophysiology and MIH Patient Assessment.

Base Station/Ol' Number 3: We've passed the electrical and mechanical permits, with minor corrections needed - and now we can work on the septic system plan. I spent some time out at Base Station clearing branches away from the driveway, the geocache (y'all knew I had a geocache at Base Station, didn't you?), the dog run, and off of the Pump House. There were two big widowmakers next to the driveway that I was able to hang on to and pull to get them to break off. They were big enough that if they had fallen, they would have blocked the driveway again or hurt someone. My assessment, post-storm, is that we sustained no noticeable damage anywhere, except for the antenna beam. We do now have a lot of broken branches to burn, though.

Adventure/Doing Stuff: This weekend had a day-long Cache-Type geocaching run, where we found 11 different cache types (a Cache-In Trash-Out Event, a regular geo event, a traditional geocache, a mystery geocache, an earthcache, a virtual cache, a webcam cache, a multi-cache, a letterbox hybrid cache, an Adventure Lab cache, and a Wherigo cache), as well as a few other geocaches of opportunity.
