grim23I'm still shuttling stuff from the Middle Chamber, mostly tools and gear - but I have a small and temporary place to live in Portland for a month or two, not far from the Middle Chamber, dubbed the 'Illuminati Safehouse' by Tiny. I'll keep some clothes and some gear there, but the majority of the stuff I haven't purged will be in Salem.
My friend with myasthenia gravis is out of rehabilitation and home safely, and grateful to be with his family. Masonic brotherhood kept him in good spirits - several Masons have participated in quietly helping the family, visiting him, and providing comfort and cheer. I am honored and grateful to be among those brethren. The uchideshi is also home, and recovering - although she naturally will push the boundaries of her recovery and will heal perhaps more slowly. I'm looking forward to seeing her in a few weeks in Seattle.
The chopper has completed basic paint, and almost everything but the motor, and may be ready for road testing in a few weeks. My practice this week was full of both assessments and crisis calls, some from friends, but I believe that everyone has gotten the guidance they need to manage - and taught me something about processing under stress. Crisis is the defining moment about integrity and being a Warrior - and I learn as much as them, about myself.
Tam gets her second tattoo session tomorrow, and I'm looking forward to spending some time with her, as well as meeting some of the ESD Team from Burning Man this weekend. I'll likely be in Portland for some addiction treatment training to maintain my certification this month, as well as moving stuff, and getting in some tantric practice.
