grim23Today, Phaedrus and I am still at Miss Rebecca's house, where I been for this week because of poor driving conditions and inclement weather. I was scheduled to fly out early tomorrow morning for Texas, but my flight was canceled due to the weather, and rescheduled for Tuesday morning.
It's just as well - Miss Rebeccas's cat, Caesar, has been dying of old age and respiratory infection, and we are now in the final hours of his life. It's not worth taking him to the animal hospital at this point, even if the roads were drivable. He's seizing, and having difficulty breathing. We are just making him comfortable. His favorite spot was perched on top of Miss Rebecca's breadmaker, deep in meditation, and that is how I will remember him. Today I'm taking care of her. If you know her, or even if you don't, send her some comforting energy. Please.
