A quick goals update
Jan. 27th, 2009 04:09 pmI'm running a treadmill 28-minute 5k, but that's different than actually running a 5k (#1). I'm working on both of my forms (#7 and #8), and maintaining regular time in the dojo (#35). I'm also starting practice for a fire sword duel, tentatively scheduled in March (#11). My truck is back from the autobody shop, and has been serviced and is scheduled for a full tune-up in a couple of weeks (#54). My bike goes for her tune-up and service and corroded parts replacement this week, as well as a bigger tank (#46 and #47). The bus is tentatively planned to be painted at the end of February (#45).
This weekend I'll be flying to San Francisco to teach a martial arts protocol class (#36), and hang with friends and a deshi I've not actually met before. Than I'll be flying to Texas a week later for a week (#56) to eat brisket with my father, and to tour and drink in hotels in San Antonio and Saguine with my mother. Then, two weeks later, I'll fly to Tucson, AZ (#55) to skydive without an airplane (#20) and hike and run with some elevation (#43), as well as get in trouble with various Burners and BIMC Presidents.
Work is requiring increasingly more time, and a subpoena and signed court order for records and possibly as a court witness, as well as multiple evaluation reports coming due are consuming a lot of time and my energy. Most of my certifications are coming due as well, so I'll be attending various training seminars (#41) to meet my continuing education requirements. Have I missed anything? Oh, yes. My tattoo is scheduled for the last hour of work in early March (#30) and I've managed to see both the latest Batman movie (highly recommended) and the latest James Bond movie (not-so-highly recommended) (#99).
Whew.
