Goals Update

grim23Last night was the Hatebreed show (#105) at the Roseland Theater, in Portland. They were the headliner, coming after three other death metal bands, and then after Cannibal Corpse. That means about six hours of head-banging, screaming, and rage. I went with a friend and we were first row, center stage - and I managed to keep her there safely, despite presses, sweeps, pushes, pulls, and crowdsurfing. I got a lot of practice redirecting and denying other people's energy. I have bruises and sore muscles like I've been in a sparring tournament. Sometimes life is a dojo.
