My friends, brothers and sisters:

My time to spend time with people is becoming steadily less due to both professional demands and personal choices that I both had and still have to make, starting this past weekend. I anticipate that I will have to continue to make many hard choices for the next few weeks that will effect my life for the next several years, and I will be unlikely to have much time for many of my friends for some time.

I am an honorable man, and I will have to make many decisions that will result in alienating some people, and will probably cause me some heartbreak and definitely regret. Many of the relationships that I have with many of the people on Tribe and elsewhere may have to change, as well as many of the things that I personally count on for support and identity, and many of the things and people that I enjoy.

I am a Warrior, and I do not fear change. I strive to face change, head on, with fire in my eye and my sword raised high. Please understand that these changes have been manifesting for some time, and this weekend was my awareness of the changes. This is not about anyone of you, this is about me.

I hope this is for good reasons and not just because you have to. I can understand how it's difficult though, Frosty and I've had to make some difficult decisions last fall about our time and where it's spent and we had to decide to cut some things out. You always wonder if it's the best decision and if those whom you'll leave aside will understand. But in the end, you've got to take care of you.
