Still alive. *smile*
Jun. 25th, 2010 10:43 amThere has been no change to my 101/1001 list this last week.
I've mainly been decompressing, from both Flipside and from my mother's likely last roadtrip. My energy has been down, and I've been sleeping more. I've been moving furniture again for this week, because the guy who I replaced before is on vacation, and it's some easy cash. The dojang has offered less training opportunities this week, because of multiple promotion tests and the Dan Promotion ceremony, and I've welcomed the break. I've gone geocaching a bit, and there's only five geocaches left that I haven't found in a 5-mile radius from my home coordinates, and two of those have been inactive for months.
This has been a healing week, and I've got a lot of projects in the works but on hold. I'm going to take my Amateur Radio Technician License Exam soon, in time for Burning Man. My father gifted me the study manual. I've found a running coach, one of the Instructors at a nearby dojang, who is willing to train with me for free. I also was gifted a complete set of high-quality sparring gear, slightly used, from my own dojang. These are things I needed but I could not afford, and I'm grateful for the Universe for them.
My Texas Professional Counselor License has just gone through the final fee process, and should be official very soon. The money I made moving furniture paid for the fee. 'Ol Number 3 is still unable to move far, with caged rear air brakes, but I'm using my network to find a mechanic with that specialty. This weekend I'm planning on getting some work done on and around the bus, and taking care of some bills. Next week, perhaps, back to my usual training pace.
