First, it's best to only work out about 5-6 times a week. Muscles need time to recover and grow after you've broken them down. Your mind and emotions, too. It's very easy to fall into the trap of personalizing your training. It's just a journey; it cannot be personalized. Personalizing your training is about Ego - so do your best in the moment, then let it go.
You are not an ascetic. Enjoy life. Even the Shaolin Priests, probably the most ascetic people I know, are still are rather fun to be around, and they'll eat and drink you under the table. They know how to party, and they do that as hard as they train.
Work as hard as you can, when you can. Recognize and acknowledge that. There will be days when the weather will not cooperate, or the place you train will be closed. That's part of Life, and the Universe didn't want you to train that way that day. Do something else somewhere else, or take a rest day. Mix it up. That's all good training.
Warriors, tantrics, and people of focus, are interesting to others who do not have that training and focus. (OK, they're interesting to those who do have that, too.) Encourage others to follow your path. Most will either do it for awhile and stop, or they'll go on a different path. The few who continue - they're the worthwhile ones. Keep them around. The only way to find those few is to keep encouraging and mentoring others.
