Goals /LIfe Update
Sep. 23rd, 2010 11:13 pmWell. Life has been interesting. My laptop starting locking up, which meant that I needed a new drive, and access to the 'net has been sporadic. My practice will be ending in about 3 weeks, and I'm starting to look for a new job. My renter has not paid for the last five months, and I'm pretty much out of money. The family health issues have escalated, and we're having to start to make decisions in a very short time. I'm still paying 2009 taxes, a mortgage, and various bills that have to be paid, but I'm not sure where the money will be coming from for them.
On the positive side, I have gone on a ride-along with a Travis County Sheriff Deputy Mental Health Investigator, and got some leads and references for a new job. The laptop is fixed. Rent is temporarily covered. I've found all but one of the active geocaches in New Braunfels (I found two geocaches today that had been hiding from me for months), and my dojang fees are paid until 2011. I will be helping the West Haven Academy of Karate in the Comal County Parade tomorrow morning. I am mostly recovered from the playa plague/whooping cough, and I have been sleeping overall fairly well (#97), and will likely start training at a bit higher level. I have been studying for my General Class Amateur Radio License, and I will be taking my exam just before my birthday in Belton, Texas at their Hamfest, going with my father.
