Life/Goals Update
Nov. 20th, 2010 12:36 pmThere are weeks when one simply keeps going. I have managed to get a few more clients, in New Braunfels and Seguin, that I will be calling this week, and I've gotten my billing and paperwork in. I'll be making phone calls on Monday, and seeing more new clients this next week. I'm needing a lot more sleep, and I'm still struggling through bronchitis-like stuff. Breathing, my usual strength, is now a challenge at times. My muscles ache.
Financially, I'm still way behind, although I will eventually be able to pay for The Fortress of Solitude and rent and my expenses. Tonight I have a paid security gig at a party. That will help pay rent.
I've managed to train a few times this week. Most of the local dojangs will be closed most of this week for Thanksgiving, so I will be training on my own. I have the basics of all of the requirements for my next test, but nuance and speed can always be improved. I plan to be at Sanctuary healing most of this week, and working on Ol' Number 3 projects.
I've managed to work in a 10-cache geocaching run in San Marcos with some of the people with the dojang, including a night cache at the San Marcos Ghost Bridge (no ghost presented themselves). I'm 15 caches away from 500. I've cleared all of the caches in New Braunfels, and I'm working my way north through San Marcos towards Ol' Number 3's location.
I have been talking regularly with Sienna (#13) and we are working parallel paths, and talking to her has been helpful for both of us. I'm still working on my homework. I will be having multiple visitors in a few weeks, and I need to get ready.
