Life/Goals Update
Aug. 8th, 2011 08:01 pmIt's been a month and a bit since the last post. A lot has happened. I've been doing some pretty deep processing, particularly in base chakras, Sienna. Although I've minimally kept up on my goals list (#79, #66), I've been busy elsewhere. I've no time for anger, or much time for loss.
I spent the last weekend in Dallas with Stephanie, driving her to and from her educational conference, but mostly stayed in the hotel room and slept. I've been having some trouble with some kind of illness, and I've a lot less energy lately. I'm just now starting to detox from whatever it was. I haven't felt much like reaching out, being on a computer, or journaling, and I haven't got much done on my goals. I've gone back to reducing carbs, and I'll be increasing my activity level this week.
Work continues and is growing slightly, as I get on more insurance panels. The family issues seem to have stabilized for now. I've had no time to work on 'Ol Number 3, partly due to the continuing oppressive heat and partly due to finances. Julie has visited me in Texas, and left me with a lot to think about. I have only trained once this week.
I've had to sell the Fortress of Solitude at a fairly big loss. I signed the acceptance papers today, and I'll close next month. That will help with remaining financial bleeding, and slow down some of the debt I'm acquiring. I'm very grateful that it sold.
I'll be again housesitting next week for tuition while much of the dojang goes to the International Championships in Orlando, and packing for the Burn after then. Minimal gear, minimal travel time ... but I will be going (#42). Additionally, I'll be part of the Black Rock City Kwoon (#51), as well as a BRC Green Dot Ranger and the BRC Emergency Services MHB.
I'll be working on more of my goals this week. I will be ready to burn.
