Last weekend
May. 31st, 2008 04:20 pmAs promised, the update from last weekend:
This weekend was a chance to get out of my job and life, take a bit of a respite, and give myself a chance to think and feel – and it was a success. After being successfully picked up at the airport by Miss Bethie (thank you again, Tam, for the very early drop off and late night pick up) and a great breakfast, and many errands to get stuff for goats, it was time for a nap. Later that day, I was honored to visit the Citadel in San Francisco and attend the Master’s Den party, where I had a great time, played safely and well, moving both Shiva and Shakti energy and making out with a beautiful grilled-cheese Burner. I was tipped 500 MD Dollars for our performance, and was gifted with an unexpected honor, a sign of trust and responsibility, presented by Bethie’s Daddy, a man I respect and trust. Aftercare-wise, there was no outward sign of ritual, as the energy went in and out quickly, but was moderated, and healing happened.
Saturday, I went walking in the Redwoods with Bethie, a 6 to 8 mile hike, contemplating ferns and beautiful huge, wet trees in a light mist on a beautiful trail as Bhoga. Decisions about what to do in the event of T-Rex attack were made, and much catching up and talking of relationships was accomplished. No zombies were shot, all weekend.
Sunday was back to the Citadel for a very informative Society of Janus class on alternate relationships that gave me an excellent framework on how I wasn’t communicating and good insights about how to relate better to others in the future, as well as some clarity as to my relationship with Tam.
Monday was Bethie’s birthday party. Early in the morning, after a clear dream the day before, my nipples were pierced as a ritual, breaking up blocks and allowing rebirth and renewal, using energy and breathing with myself. The piercing was done quickly and well, with Bethie’s Daddy and Bethie participating. Then there was enjoyable geeky card games, and then there was a chance for more ritual. This time I was able to really move a lot of Shakti energy, a balance to Friday, and push more energy than I had been able to for years, and that was very satisfying. Again, aftercare-wise, no outward signs – but moving that level of energy moved a lot of blocks for her, and gave her what she needed. Sarvata happened, and then I had to leave for the airport.
There was an excellent steak and coffee, and lots of good burgers, and the breakfast on Friday. There was junk food goodness. There is blue jewelry where there was unadornment, and healing for both myself and others. There was meeting lots of new friends. I finished both my current and my next bit of tantric homework. Bethie and Daddy Darin: Thank you for the hospitality, and for everything.
