Y2KX Goals Update
Jan. 3rd, 2010 09:07 amCompleted: 28/106
In progress: 28
Having finished the 'Ol Number 3 conversion to an RV (#17) by completing the tow packages, I have 28 items completed on my 101/1001 list, and another 28 in progress. 'Ol Number 3 is ready to roll for Texas, perhaps more so than I am. My physical training is honed to less than I'd prefer, but still enough. I have left the dojo with appropriate gifts for my Sensei and Sempai, and a greater understanding of the softer arts, and what to work on. I have left my tantric teacher with a greater understanding of the Naked Flame and what is still needed to work on. I have left my clinical practice, and realized how dysfunctional and constricted that environment was, and the knowledge of what to work on. I feel much like Luke Skywalker leaving before completing his Jedi training, and I've been described as 'unleashed chaos'.
One of my most significant sayings is "To Know is to Act," a Samurai maxim. I know I have support, and I know most of what I need to do. Before I leave, that abandoned 5th Wheel will have disappeared (#50). I will spend at least a week in CA (#57), and some time in AZ. I will visit another hot spring (#76) and heal. Once in Texas, I'll find another job and study and pass my EPPP (#14). I'll start a new life, perhaps more simple than this one, join another dojo, and work the bottom three chakras.
Now, last minute details, some more goodbyes, and then final packing and securing the bus and truck for travel.
