Washington DC Road Trip, Day 6
Jun. 10th, 2010 10:21 pmToday was a yet longer geohike, on a loop around the Washington Monument. I started at Freedom Plaza, and hunted and found 14 geocaches, including the Freedom Plaza, the National Christmas Tree, the Declaration of Independence Signers Memorial, The Vietnam Wall, The Korean War Memorial, the WWII Memorial, the Lincoln Monument, the Einstein Memorial, the Forest Service Information Center, and ended at Ford's Theater. I did take a detour at the Washington Monument.
Tomorrow one of my deshi arrives for a couple of days; It will be good to see her. For some reason, all of my deshi are checking in with various life changes. Additionally, my mother is having some medical and mental health issues, which help me understand more about what will need to happen on our return. This is perhaps the main purpose of this 'vacation'.
