Goals/Life Update - Day 96/1001
Jan. 9th, 2012 06:27 pmGoals Completed: 1
Goals in Progress: 19
Body: Managed to train (#1) this week for two double-classes: one set in San Marcos, one set in New Braunfels. Still six classes behind. I will be testing this next weekend, and I have the minimum number of classes, but I will be attending as many classes as I can this week. Ran through Bong Hyung Ee Dan once, and I'm starting to grasp it a bit better (#11).
Mind: Finished The Unfettered Mind. Starting Ki in Daily Life, by Koichi Tohei (#28). Culling some of my books to make space for other books. Completed IS-700.a - Introduction to National Incident Management System (NIMS), as part of the list of suggested classes for Comal and Travis County for the CERT training program (#31).
Work: Still cutting down and controlling my work email (#50). Cut back on my days working to accommodate the CERT Training, and also I've built in more opportunities to train, without cutting down on the number of clients.
Life: Completed a review of my credit history information (#93). I'm still continuing the Throw Out 50 Things Challenge (#94). Volunteered at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore again (#77), where I'm known as 'The Coffee Guy' and I now have my own blue work apron. Confirmed attendance at the CERT training 1/31 (#91). Still borrowing Steph's portable solar charger (#98), although I've not actually charged anything yet. Planning on going to the VNV Nation concert (#92) on 2/25.
Moved and secured a lot of stuff from Sanctuary to 'Ol Number 3, as Steph and I may be moving closer to New Braunfels - Steph got a job there, and moving will lessen both our work commutes. Possibly moving in February. My brother came to visit this weekend, and there was discussion of the family issues, and lots of BBQ. I enjoyed spending time with my father and my brother, even if some of the reasons for him coming were more serious.
