Goals/Life Update - Day 368/1001
Oct. 7th, 2012 10:50 pm"The greatest results in life are usually attained by simple means and the exercise of ordinary qualities. These may for the most part be summed in these two: common sense and perseverance." - Owen Feltham
Goals Completed: 13
Goals in Progress: 29
Body: I trained for one class in both San Marcos and New Braunfels this week (#1, #2, #11), including the birthday tradition of sparring the whole dojang. On Saturday, I went to the Amateur Radio Swapfest in Belton with my father instead of training, so I owe myself 4 classes. I'm managed to sleep better this week (#14).
Mind: I'm continuing a mindful eating practice (#27) this week, although I've again taken a few days off for my birthday. I finished reading Zen In the Art of Archery (#28).
Work: I am registered (not on the waitlist any more) for an ethics CEU class 10/10/12 (#45), and another ethics class 10/25/12. I've completed another online CEU course and once I've attended both classes, I will be current for the year.
Life: The weekend camping trip the first weekend of October to Eastern Texas (#62) was cancelled, but it will be rescheduled. Tomorrow will be firing up, testing, and cleaning the Sportster (#75) that was scheduled for last week. A person was helped randomly and anonymously (#78). Today Steph and I went to the Witte Museum (#87) for the Mummies of the World Exhibit - very interesting. Steph and I are still scheduled to see Assemblage 23 (#92) on 10/15/12. Geocaching some this week, and working on the D/T grid (#96), but DNF'd the geocache that I needed.
Still not much change with the family situation. This week on 'Ol Number 3: food storage, putting the rest of my Burning Man gear back on the bus, and still looking at putting up some art this week.
