Goals/Life Update - Day 389/1001
Oct. 28th, 2012 11:18 pm“The real cycle you're working on is a cycle called yourself.” ― Robert M. Pirsig, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance: An Inquiry Into Values
Goals Completed: 13
Goals in Progress: 30
Body: I trained/taught a triple-class in San Marcos this week (two Dan prep classes and a women's self defense class), and I'm glad I did - Dan testing and instructor illness prohibited other training opportunities this week (#1, #2, #11). I still owe myself 4 classes. I'm back to baseline on push-ups, and working on better form, and I've added another ten sit-ups (#5, #6). I've continued a better sleep regimen this week (#14).
Mind: I talked to Sienna this last week (#26). I'm continuing a mindful eating practice (#27) this week, and I'm on track to complete this goal this week. I've finished Sun Tzu's The Art of War, and also Robert Persig's Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance (#28). Still signed up for Urban Shield (#40) on 12/1/12.
Work: Completed a 3-CEU ethics class 10/25/12, and still registered for a 5-CEU class on Overmedication 11/10/12 (#45). It looks like I can get some of the preliminary classes completed on-line for acquiring a Disaster Response specialization (#49) through the American Red Cross.
Life: The Sportster (#75) project is still not fully completed. I've had to buy a new battery, and there's a problem with a fuel line. *sigh* Found another geocaching FTF tonight, but no new D/T combination caches (#96).
This week on 'Ol Number 3: Tracing an electrical problem, putting small things away, and working on a more effective bathroom area that allows for more storage. I've repacked some storage areas, and some things that might be needed quickly are now more accessible.
