As a single footstep will not make a path on the earth, so a single thought will not make a pathway in the mind. To make a deep physical path, we walk again and again. To make a deep mental path, we must think over and over the kind of thoughts we wish to dominate our lives. ~ Henry David Thoreau

I spent today cutting back blackberries, cutting them back to the point that I could put the fence back in its original position, and finally taking the side yard off my projects list. Then, I raked the entire garden field, removing yet another layer of grass, weeds, and duff, and improved the garden path. Tomorrow, I’ll be restoring the honeysuckle trellis attached to the woodshed, taking another layer of trash out of the woodshed, and burning a lot of yard debris and old wood. By Monday morning, I will have sent in all of the necessary paperwork for my counseling license.
