Goals Completed: 37
Goals in Progress: 25
Despite the ‘trigger finger’ syndrome to my left pinky finger, and my weakened left knee, I managed to get my taxes done, fix the front door (damaged by the dog’s tether), clear off a good space on the workbench in the garage, and install another shop light I’d scored out of a ‘free’ pile over the cleared space. I also fixed the garage door, and the garage is now more secure.
The starts in the greenhouse are ready for hardening and planting. I’ve started doing that this week and I’ll be starting the second round of planting seeds next week. I planted irises in the rose garden, more mint in the herb garden, and gathered more tires to make a temporary ‘bird cage’ around the vegetable garden with some bird netting. I’ve got plans to build a more permanent ¾-inch PVC framework cage to protect the beans and peas. I also recycled all the accumulated recycled cans and bottles, and burned the paper trash.
Tomorrow: making and installing bean supports, and possibly transplanting the beans from the greenhouse, depending on the weather. Also, there's a high likelihood of Pinkk from CA coming through for a visit. *smile*
