Goals/Life Update - Day 938/1001
Apr. 29th, 2014 10:40 pmIt is a paradoxical but profoundly true and important principle of life that the most likely way to reach a goal is to be aiming not at that goal itself but at some more ambitious goal beyond it. - Arnold Joseph Toynbee
Goals Completed: 37
Goals in Progress: 25
Steph and I did attend a geocaching CITO event with a difficulty/terrain combination I don’t have (#96). I’m scheduled for a dental appointment for a checkup in a couple of weeks, and that will complete that goal (#84). I’ll also renew my CPR/1st Aid certification (#70) in a couple of weeks at the Red Cross Disaster Academy, completing that goal as well.
All the starts are germinating well, and all of the first round starts (mainly the slowly growing peppers) were planted in their upper garden tires. All of the herb garden starts are planted in the herb garden (one tire left for something!), and the extra herb seeds were restarted. I’ve also started some runner beans and yellow pear tomatoes in the greenhouse, and pulled some more weeds. I’ve also made a little progress on the irrigation ditch and burned the paper trash and more yard debris.
Tomorrow will be mowing the lawn, more weeding, and more greenhouse time.
